The CARBOKEG technology has an autonomous conversion system that is capable of transforming dry ice (solid carbon dioxide) into gaseous CO₂, used in the beverage carbonation and extraction processes.

What is dry ice?

Dry ice is carbon dioxide (CO2) in a solid state. It gets its name because it doesn't melt, but sublimates directly from a solid to a gaseous state. Until the advent of our technology, it was not possible to control its low temperature of -79ºC.

How does the process obtain CO2 without using cylinders or capsules?

The CARBOKEG technology has an autonomous conversion system that is capable of transforming dry ice (solid carbon dioxide) into gaseous CO₂, used in the beverage carbonation and extraction processes.

Does the TAP need to be connected to electricity during refrigeration?

Do not. The CARBO TAP refrigeration process does not depend on electricity. The only part that needs to be recharged is the control panel's internal battery.

What types of containers fit the CARBO TAP GO?

CARBO TAP GO comes with a Pet Keg and is also compatible with alternative containers of up to 5 liters such as growlers, Heineken kegs and mini stainless steel kegs, etc.

What is the dry ice autonomy?​

After filling the container with dry ice completely, it can yield up to 12 hours of operation, depending on the initial temperature of the drink.
